Instrumentation
Services’ Remote Data System is a
general-purpose data acquisition
system, designed to collect data
un-attended. With its low power
requirements, the hardened RDS is
well-suited to on-vehicle data
collection as well as remote,
stationary applications.
The Remote Data
System was designed specifically for
data acquisition and built from the
ground up to function in an
un-attended setting.
|
As part of a
Distributed Data Acquisition system,
several Remote Data Systems can be
linked together to collect data from
a wide variety of sensors in
different locations.
The RDS
features a built-in wireless
networking capability, allowing
multiple units to communicate with
each other and exchange data.
Additionally, the user controls the
RDS by accessing it through a
notebook computer over the wireless
network. |
